Reigning under 16 champions will return to Sheffield this summer to defend the title they won in 2016. The first ever team to take part in the tournament from the USA surprised most fans and pundits alike when they defeated FC Basel in the showpiece final at Hallam Sports Park, and they will be looking for a similar showing in 2017 in their attempt to retain their crown.

Joining their u16's, the Sounders will also be bringing their u14's this year who will be looking to replicate the success of their older team-mates. They join Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Rangers and others in the hat with the competition spaces filling up in the u14 draw. Whilst in the u16's tournament. Seattle will have to defend their trophy against the team they defeated in the final, FC Basel as well as Stoke City, Celtic and Sheffield Wednesday.

For the Youdan Trophy draw, Seattle u16's have been allocated the ball number 11, whilst in the u14 draw, they will be number 11.

Over the coming weeks and months keep an eye on Youdan Trophy's Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages for all the latest club announcements and news.
